Today I went through the giant rusted doors and nearly got crushed. I then proceed to walk up the spiral staircase to the upstairs. As I walked in I noticed like all Sunday there was almost no one there. I went into the children's play are and noticed that there was in fact kids there. I got my Chutes and Ladders and set it up. Soon I was playing the game with a little girl wearing a black shirt with sparkly writing on it that was so bright I couldn't read it. Chutes and Ladders is a game of chance. Well, apparently my chances of winning were as good as getting struck by lightning. Out of five games I won one. We must have done this for 45 minutes for I looked at the clock and saw I was past 1 hour. After one last game I left feeling like a little kid again.
Assesment paragraph 7
Today I went to the New London Public Library for the last time. As I stepped through the iron doors that had once made me uncomfortable, I felt at home in the library that I had been visiting for so long. As I climbed up the stairs I looked at the people leaning casually against the walls. I went to the same table I had always been sitting at and set up my toys. As I waited for the kids to come through the door I took pictures so I could present this experience so that people could see it the way I did. When kids came through most of which were very young I greeted there parents. Some of them just said no thank you when I asked if there son or daughter wanted to play. I used to think they were being rude but now I know they were just protecting their loved ones. I only got one kid to come over and investigate but his mother then had to shuffle him out the door to leave. I have had a wonderful experience.

Assement visit 5
Assessment visit five
Today was one of the fastest visits I have had yet. I got 3 kids within 10 minutes. The first kids name was Topher and he was 6 years old and we played with the newest things I had brought pattern blocks. We made all sorts of shapes from the paper activities. We made crocodiles and boats. Then another boy came and his name was Clinton and he was very energetic. He fancied making the blocks into sharks and fish. But slowly as always they began to leave. Clinton left first with his sister and mother. Then Topher’s brother came but they didn’t stay long and left with their parents. But first Topher left with a “Bye Jordan ” then ran down the stairs racing his brother to the heavy black door. After that my sister insisted on playing with the checkers so we did for a while.
