TS: How this experience has changed me

            SD: This experience has made me friendly to people I don’t know well

                        CM: My first visit I let people come up to me

                        CM: Near the end of this project I was looking around for kids

            SD: This let me see what it was like to work in a library

                        CM: A lot more problems than I thought

                        CM: Librarians deal with it amazingly

            SD: Let me work with something without fur or scales

                        CM: Am usually with animals

                        CM: enjoyed my time with the little kids

TS: I loved this change that this experience has brought me.

                        SD: Being less shy

                                    CM: There were not many people some days

                                    CM: When there were parents sometimes I didn’t go up to talk

                        SD: Finding a place faster

                                    CM: I should have been pushier

                                    CM: Waited for them to respond first

                        SD: Be friendly towards kids

                                    CM: Needed to be more inviting

                                    CM: Bring them over myself to play

            TS:  I did a lot of stuff I wish I should have down.

                                    CM: Jem kept her company when she was alone

                                    CM: I played with children to keep them company

                        SD: Atticus

                                    CM: I had to be gentle and patient

                                    CM: Had to ask the adults if their children wanted to play

                        SD:  Quiet children

                                    CM: Cannot judge kids to soon

                                    CM: Judged Boo Radley to soon      

            CS: Sometimes things come into a circle through books.

 TS: Its is not hard to do good in the world.

SD: I helped kids not be so shy.

 CM: A lot of kids were quiet and slow.

CM: After we had played they blossomed out.

SD: Some kids came to the library so they could use the computers.

 CM: Gave them something to do other than video games.

CM: Games brought the best out of everyone.

SD: I was someone they could open up to.

CM: While we played kids talked to me about the home.

CM: One girl said no one played with her much at her house.

TS: Helping doesn’t have to come through helping the homeless sometimes just making someone happy.

SD: Really shy kids.

CM: Would have to bring them over to the games.

CM: Didn't now how to count.

SD: No place is perfect

CM: No show days were the library was dead still

CM: Would have to wait for an hour for some one

SD: Kids would come and be really loud

CM: Would stir up trouble.

CM: Were all ways mean spirited toward everyone

TS: Had a hard time but it made for quite an experience.   

Assement visit 5

Assessment visit five

Today was one of the fastest visits I have had yet. I got 3 kids within 10 minutes. The first kids name was Topher and he was 6 years old and we played with the newest things I had brought pattern blocks. We made all sorts of shapes from the paper activities. We made crocodiles and boats. Then another boy came and his name was Clinton and he was very energetic. He fancied making the blocks into sharks and fish. But slowly as always they began to leave. Clinton left first with his sister and mother. Then Topher’s brother came but they didn’t stay long and left with their parents. But first Topher left with a “Bye Jordan” then ran down the stairs racing his brother to the heavy black door. After that my sister insisted on playing with the checkers so we did for a while.
